ABOUT ALINA
Alina Bas guides leaders to influence the world in a peaceful and powerful way. Clients who seek her guidance are often very successful, but not fulfilled. They have earned influential titles and high salaries; they have 2.5 kids, a dog and an impressive square footage; they have achieved everything they were told would bring them happiness. Now they face two main challenges:
- Fulfillment still eludes them, and
- Apprehension about the next big thing that they want to do weighs heavily on them, since they have already accomplished so much, but often without feeling meaningful satisfaction.
Alina Bas helps clients resolve complex work-related situations, face tough personal choices, and develop inspiring, practical no-nonsense strategies for creating fulfilling, productive lives.
In corporations, Alina coaches leaders who are asked to do more, do something differently or make a transition into a new role. As a result, they build strong teams, establish clear performance expectations, manage teams and tactfully address conflicts.
“Alina is an impressive facilitator and a strong executive coach with a remarkable ability to build consensus.” - Vivian Sun, MS, RD, CDN, Director, Organizational & Staff Development, SMHN HHC

DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?
Who are Your People? I mean the people with whom you feel comfortable being strong and being weak, with whom you are not afraid to show who you are, and who are not afraid to challenge you to bring out the best in you? If you consider yourself bright, introspective, curious about the world, capable, if you often feel overworked and sometimes neurotic, if you are carrying the world on your shoulders and are searching for meaning… my work is designed to support You. Many of my clients see themselves through some of these lenses:
- Well-educated professional successful by a large definition, but not fulfilled
- High achiever
- Type A
- Top of your class
- Top of your game
- Often labeled “high potential”
- 2.5 kids, a dog, “right” square footage in the “right” place, high salary
- Got everything that you ever thought you should get in order to feel complete, yet something feels off
Perhaps you
- Seek excitement
- Crave peace
- Set the bar high for yourself
- Believe in practical solutions
- Want to create something meaningful
- Want to amplify who you are rather than change who you are
- Can be described as worldly, curious, determined
- Have a powerful public image, but in private, question yourself often
I get it.
You are used to doing things for yourself.
Asking for help is not a part of your deal.
If you want to grow, though, you need a new deal.
So, read my blog, look at what we can do together, tell me your story, ask your question. Let’s talk.
Enjoy your journey to becoming peaceful and powerful!
ABOUT COACHING
Life Coaching is a process that helps you align your daily life with your values. This process entails having in-depth dialogue about your life with a life coach, by phone or in person. The coach is not the person with all the answers, but rather with key questions that you may not dare to ask yourself. Each session is one hour, with extensive e-mail support between sessions. While some challenges can be adequately within three sessions, other situations can take several months to resolve. Some clients prefer to have just a couple of sessions as a “tune-up”, others prefer to have ongoing support of a coach as they are working on different aspects of their lives over time.
To determine whether Life Coaching is right for you, consider the following three questions:
- Is there a gap between the life/career/relationship that you have and the one that you want?
- Are you ready to open up about your life, explore all options, and think outside the box?
- Are you willing to make an investment into the support and structure that life coaching provides?
If you answer “yes” to all of the questions above, life coaching is likely to be a good resource for you. I look forward to working with you!
